Issues and
Resolutions:
1. We agreed to be more proactive in our actions. Offering the sign of peace on behalf of St. Katharine Drexel Parish and mixing and mingling after Mass with coffee and donuts. 2. Communion traffic flow will be predetermined. The team Captain of each Mass will ask Fr. Paul how many communion stations he wants at that Mass. The Captain then alerts the other team members so they may inform and direct the parishioners accordingly. 3. Print bilingual song sheets so there is only one piece of paper to deal with for all Masses. This will relieve some of the confusion between 10 & Noon and 6 & 7:30 Masses. |
4. Bottle neck at door at the end of Mass can be relieved by the
following methods: 5. Be more directive with the arriving Parishioners. Assist them to available seats instead of having them find their own way 6. Before Mass have 2 or 3 Ushers hand out books and song sheets while the remainder assist Parishioners to their seats 7. Direct late comers to available seats as to cause minimum disruption 8. Station Ushers at strategic spots in the Church space so Ushers at the door can direct parishioners to the Usher in the Church. 9. Seating for children and families with strollers will be on the sides last 4 rows, along the rear and on the ends. Team Captains and Ushers will be proactive in assisting these Parishioners with appropriate seating 10. Ushers that cannot keep there scheduled time must find their own replacement and communicate that to their Team Captain 11. Scheduling will be done by the Team Captains starting in March 12. During Discipleship Sundays, have the Team Captains make a public plea to the Parishioners for their Ministry |
