My name is Cheryl DeVaux and I would like to let you know that Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Weston is holding the "Golden Gala" on November 17th, 2007 at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac.  We are raising funds to build our new multi-purpose building in which we will be able to hold church services, provide religious education to adults and children as well as hold other activities vital to our parish.

We will also be celebrating the 50th birthday of our Pastor Father Pedro Corces.

We are now located in the Weston Commercial Center at 2700 Glades circle Suite 200.  We hold services there but as the rent prices keep rising, (we now pay $18,100.00 a month) we feel an urgent need to have our own facilities to continue worship.  WE already have the land on South Post Road and are hoping to move out of our current warehouse facility in 3-5 years.

Tickets to the Golden Gala are $110 per person and we will have a dinner/dance with a Silent and Live auction.  We are also raffling an "18 Karat Gold Ladies Cartier Watch" at a $100 per ticket.  My contact telephone number is 954-660-0845, if you have any questions regarding the Gala.
